HOW
TO WEAR OUR DESIGNER STRETCH HEADBANDS:
Take the headband and place it over your
head and pull down to your neck (like a necklace). As you do this,
be sure to keep the headband folded & that the tag is
on the outside rear
center of your neck. Then open the
front portion of the headband out to the desired width (or keep it folded
to wear it narrow) and pull this front
part up over your face to your hair line as desired while the back portion
will remain on the lower portion of your hairline above the back of your
neck. For best results to avoid any slip-age, headbands should be
worn closer to your hairline & on an angle to the back of your head. Depending on your hair type, if you
have very fine straight hair & wear the headband too far back (away from your
forehead, it could slip off. To help prevent this wear it wider &
closer to your forehead hairline, or only purchase our textured or cotton/lycra
or Athletic
Performance headbands rather than those made of smooth swimsuit fabric. See photos
below for examples of how to wear these headbands.
Wear our stretch headbands in many
different ways as shown below:

Wide--up to 5 inches
when worn fully opened

HEADBAND
CARE
Treat the same way you would treat a
nice bathing suit. Machine wash (delicate cycle). Use
COLD water. You
may use gentle detergent. Line dry or low heat tumble dry (only for
a few minutes) or air dry. Low heat steam iron to smooth out any wrinkles &
re-establish crease lines. Keep in mind that prints with sequins are delicate
and the sequins will eventually fall out with use.
SOFTAILZ™
CARE
Some
are made of stretch cotton/lycra & others are poly or stretch rayon.
Most are machine washable. Air dry is best--or low heat
dry. Silkier & metallic fabrics should be hand washed or placed in the
delicate cycle, then air dry or low heat tumble dry.
HOW TO WEAR A SOFTAILZ
™
Simply put on like
any hat. Be sure that the tag & rear opening are centered at the back
of your neck. Then hold the tail straight up to center it, pinch the inner
fabric under the tail, then bring the tail flat over the pinched fabric &
stuff tail into the rear opening & pull tight. Doing so should give
you a nice, smooth look (depending on the type of fabric of your Softailz™
). The tail should hang freely
(& centered) over the back of your neck.
Optional:
After the Softailz™ is on, you may
then place a pony tail inside the tail portion. There is a second opening
in the tail portion for this purpose. Only
the 2008 patterns have the 2nd opening for the pony tail. Be sure to
first band your pony tail together with a pony tail holder. Pony tail
should be low--on the lower back portion of your neck & not a high pony
tail. Sometimes twisting the ponytail makes it easier to stuff it into the
opening.
